Did you know that 60% of today's astronauts were active scouts? Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex presents our annual Salute to Scouts, a special event to honor and inspire the next generation of explorers. Your troop will have full-day access to all KSC Visitor Complex shows and exhibits plus learn about the latest NASA accomplishments. Scouts will take a bus tour of KSC launch areas, meet a real astronaut, strap in to the NEW Shuttle Launch Experience and even perform special hands-on activities.

Salute to Scouts activities are designed to support Space Exploration and Aerospace Merit Badge requirements.

Salute to Scouts program includes a visit to the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®. There your scouts will learn more about NASA's astronaut heroes, participate in a scavenger hunt and experience the thrill of motion-based space simulators.
