Atlantis will carry the Raffaello multipurpose logistics module to deliver supplies, logistics and spare parts to the International Space Station. The mission will also fly a system to investigate the potential for robotically refueling existing spacecraft and return a failed ammonia pump module to help NASA better understand the failure mechanism and improve pump designs for future systems.

Fueling of space shuttle Atlantis’s external fuel tank has now been completed. The launch countdown continues for the targeted lift off at 11:26 a.m. ET. No issues are being worked at this time. The weather forecast is still 30 percent favorable.
