G. Scott Hubbard, author of "Exploring Mars: Chronicles
from a Decade of Discovery," will be hosting a special presentation on
Mars at 2:00 p.m. in the Astronaut Encounter Theater.
Hubbard has an extensive science, technology and management
background offering more than 35 years of experience. Hubbard worked with NASA
for 20 years, serving as the first Mars program director, conceiving the Mars
Pathfinder mission and managing the Lunar Prospector Mission.
Hubbard has received many awards including NASA’s most honorable award,
the Distinguished Service Medal.
Following the presentation, Hubbard will host an autograph
session in the Astronaut Encounter Lobby. His book, “Exploring Mars: Chronicles
from a Decade of Discovery,” will be available for purchase in the lobby and at
The Space Shop. Books are $20 each. Cash only.
