Field Trips

Inspire your students with a Kennedy Space Center field trip. Special low admission rates allow students to explore the Apollo/Saturn V Center, tour NASA areas and interact with shows and exhibits. During your Florida field trip, students can also meet astronauts, watch larger-than-life IMAX® films, strap into the Shuttle Launch Experience and explore historic rockets.

Meet Florida Sunshine State Standards, FCAT requirements and National Science Standards by taking a Kennedy Space Center field trip. New Educators Activity Guides are available for kindergarten - grade . The guides below contain pre-trip, on-site and post-trip experiences designed to promote cooperative learning, problem solving and guided research.

Youth rate requirements

  • 15 students minimum
  • No walk-up groups
  • One-week advance reservation required

Chaperone Policy

  • One chaperone for every 5 students (kindergarten - 5th grade)
  • One chaperone for every 10 students (6th - 12th grade)
  • Youth rate is offered to all chaperones based on the ratios above. Additional adults accompanying students on field trips pay regular admission rate.
