Wednesday, September 7 – Saturday, September 10

  • For the first time in history, two of the five existing touchable moon rocks will be in one location for visitors to experience
  • See Tom Hank’s produced IMAX moon film Magnificent Desolation 
  • Virtually guide the Exploration Uplink rover based at NASA’s Desert Research and Technology Studies area near Flagstaff, Arizona 
  • Sit in a student-built moon buggy from NASA’s Great Moon Buggy Race
  • Gaze at a 4-foot lunar globe

Friday, September 9

  • 10:00 a.m. Mission Status Center - “Eyes on the Solar System” demonstration
  • 1:00 p.m. Apollo/Saturn V Center – Join Dr. Brad Bailey from NASA’s Lunar Science Institute for one-on-one discussion about the latest happenings in Lunar Science and how you can get involved.
  • 3:00 p.m. Astronaut Encounter Theater – Panel discussion with Lunar Scientists Dr. Renee Weber, Marshall Space Flight Center and Dr. Pamela Gay, Astronomer & MoonZoo creator.

Saturday, September 10

  • 8:29 a.m. GRAIL launch
