Inspire young imaginations with Salute to Science, an interactive educational experience at the world’s busiest spaceport. Salute to Science is a fun, educational, team-building experience that makes the most of your day at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex with a combination of a guided program from the on-site education team and time to explore on your own.

During Salute to Science, students:

  • Attend a private briefing to learn about important science concepts related to space exploration 
  • Enjoy a private presentation with a veteran NASA astronaut 
  • Engage in a hands-on, minds-on Team Engineering Challenge   
  • Get a full-access ticket to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which includes special activities, Space Shuttle Atlantis® and Shuttle Launch Experience®, Heroes & Legends, 3D IMAX® space films, the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour, plus all shows and exhibits.

Salute to Science runs from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm and includes lunch.  Private dates are available by reservation for groups of 50 or more. It is a great opportunity for students to learn authentic and hands-on STEM education outside of the classroom and home.
