Salute to Science participants are greeted by the Education Team to begin their adventure at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. After meeting a veteran NASA astronaut, students learn about space missions and receive an engineering challenge. 

During Salute to Science, students:

  • Are greeted by the Education Team to begin their adventure at Kennedy Space Center Visitor complex
  • Attend a private briefing to learn about important science concepts related to space exploration
  • Enjoy a private presentation with a veteran NASA astronaut
  • Engage in a hands-on, minds-on Team Engineering Challenge  
  • Get a full-access ticket to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which includes special activities, 3D IMAX® space films, the KSC tour, Space Shuttle Atlantisâ„ , Shuttle Launch Experience®, U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® plus all shows and exhibits

Private dates and events available by reservation for groups of 30 or more. 

Salute to Science runs 9 am - 2:30 pm. Lunch is included. Groups are welcome to explore all the attractions at the Visitor Complex after program is complete, until complex closing time. Perfect for large groups of 30 or more.
