Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is proud to honor educators with a special day dedicated to learning, connection, and space‑inspired fun. Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for Educator Appreciation Day, a celebration recognizing the incredible impact you as educators make every day in and out of the classroom.
On Educator Appreciation Day, spend the day exploring the visitor complex for free, and bring up to three (3) additional guests for 50% off 1-day admission. There are two ways you can get your one-time complimentary ticket and purchase guest tickets:
On-Site at Will Call — Teachers must print and bring one of the following credentials:
- An active teaching certificate from the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Un badge avec une photo indiquant le titre « Enseignant ou éducateur pour la maternelle à la 12e année ».
- Letter on school letterhead, dated and signed by the principal, listing the name(s) of the teachers, stating they are educators at the school.
Through ID.me — Use your current ID.me account, or sign up, to receive tickets before you arrive.
Did you know?
With the same credentials listed above, K – 12 teachers throughout the United States of America, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands will receive complimentary access to the visitor complex for a year with an Educator Study Pass. Pick up yours while you are at the Educator Appreciation Event and come back all year for free!
While your friends and family continue to explore, you are invited to join other teachers for an Educator Expo at the Heroes and Legends Conference Facility. Throughout the expo, you will connect with space industry partners, discover resources available for your students, learn about visitor complex programs and field trips, and network with fellow educators who share a passion for STEM and space exploration.
Expo sessions will be held at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. If you wish to attend, RSVP for one session only. Note that space is limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Attendance is optional and offered as an added resource.
We look forward to welcoming you to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and hope you will help us share the NASA story with future generations!
