Stephen Frick, astronaute de la NASA et pilote d'essai de la marine, a participé à deux missions de la navette spatiale, accumulant plus de 565 heures dans l'espace et dirigeant les efforts d'assemblage de la station spatiale internationale.

Captain Stephen Frick is a former NASA astronaut and veteran of two space shuttle missions, logging over 565 hours in space. Selected by NASA in 1996, he served in key roles, including pilot of STS-110 and commander of STS-122. His missions contributed significantly to the construction and expansion of the International Space Station, including the installation of the S0 Truss and the European Columbus Laboratory.

At NASA, Capt. Frick held several leadership positions, such as lead CAPCOM for the STS-114 return-to-flight mission and Chief of the Astronaut Office Exploration Branch. He also played a vital role in post-Columbia recovery efforts and Orion spacecraft development.

Before joining NASA, Capt. Frick served as a U.S. Navy pilot and test pilot, flying 26 combat missions during Desert Storm and conducting carrier-based testing of the F/A-18 Hornet. He retired from the Navy in 2010 with over 4,300 flight hours in 38 aircraft and more than 370 carrier landings.
