Event Details

Holidays in Space celebrates the winter holidays like no where else on Earth! Each evening brings a dazzling video display projected onto the side of the Saturn 1B rocket in the Rocket Garden for a unique outdoor cinematic experience that concludes with a fireworks display. Features include custom animation blended with historic footage of actual launches, a time-lapse video of the International Space Station and a glimpse of a future Mars habitat. The Holidays in Space show takes place December 21, 2016 through January 1, 2017, with the exception of December 25.

Exclusive for Annual Passholders: Join us for a special preview to kickoff Holidays in Space on December 21, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Rocket Garden. SpacePerson and Z2 astronauts will be on hand to mingle along with refreshments and bleacher seating available in an exclusive prime viewing area for the showing at 6:15 pm. Passholders will also receive a limited edition Holidays In Space commemorative pin and a photo opportunity with the Lunar Rover! Though bleacher seating is provided, passholders are encouraged to bring blankets and camp chairs for lawn viewing. Want to participate in the special preview? Purchase an annual pass today.

The visitor complex is also decorated with the spirit of the holidays. Don’t forget to take a holiday spirit selfie with the giant NASA logo ornament at the entrance to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex!
