Astronaut Scholarship Foundation’s Space Rendezvous 2017

Nov 04, 2017 09:30 AM - Nov 04, 2017 04:00 PM Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is pleased to present this year’s Space Rendezvous Astronaut Autograph and Memorabilia Show, taking place at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Located in the Debus Conference Facility, admission into the show is included with your visitor complex daily admission. However, astronaut autographs and photos are available for an additional fee. Click here for a complete listing of astronauts and astronaut autograph pricing.

The visitor complex will host 2 panels featuring notable astronauts during the show. Each panel lasts 30 minutes, with 15 minutes of Q&A moderated by former CNN correspondent and award-winning journalist John Zarrella. Join us in the Astronaut Encounter theater for the following:

11:00 a.m. - Project Apollo panel with astronaut Al Worden (Apollo 15)

1:00 p.m. - Female Astronauts panel with Nicole Stott (Expedition 20, Expedition 21, STS-128, STS-133), Kathy Thornton (STS-33, STS-49, STS-61, STS-73) and Rhea Seddon (STS-40, STS-51D, STS-58)

While at the visitor complex, take a journey through America’s space program, from the pioneering Mercury 7 astronauts in Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® and to the moon landing with the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Chronicle the 30 years of the Space Shuttle Program through Space Shuttle Atlantis® and learn of the present and future of space exploration in Journey to Mars: Explorers Wanted and in NASA Now. Be sure to interact with astronauts and others from the space industry, and enjoy the historic Astronaut Autograph Show!
