Space Race 2018

Jan 12, 2018 07:20 PM - Jan 12, 2018 11:00 PM Kennedy Space Center

After the success of 2017’s inaugural Space Race, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex presents the 2018 Space Race benefiting United Way of Brevard. The Space Race is a 2 or 4-mile course throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex including the historic Rocket Garden, the booster stack at the entrance of Space Shuttle Atlantis® and to Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®.  Guests are welcome to walk or run the course.

Timing and scoring is chip-determined. The top 10 men and women will be scored for the 2-mile race, and the 4-mile race scores will be determined by age groups. Want to meet an astronaut? Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut.  Celebrate finishing the race and enjoy a beer or wine in the Rocket Garden at the after-race party regardless of placement!

  • 4-Mile Entry on Race Day - $35.00 per person
