Live Q&A with ISS Astronaut

NASA astronaut Ricky Arnold is currently orbiting Earth at 17,500 miles/28,163 kilometers per hour aboard the International Space Station. On Friday, July 13, 2018, hear from him in real time at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex via Amateur Radio.

The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) joins the visitor complex to present this live question and answer session as part of Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS). Students in the ARISS program from Burns SciTech Charter School will ask pre-selected questions, learning about life in space through radio science technology.

Ricky Arnold is contributing to the current mission’s investigations on biological behavior in extreme space conditions, tests for deep space travel, and other research ranging from physics to biological studies. Guests with daily admission or an annual pass to the visitor complex are welcome to attend this live radio broadcast and hear about his experiences while aboard the ISS.
