Educator Night Out

May 01, 2018 06:30 PM - May 01, 2018 09:00 PM Astronaut Training Experience Center and NASA Central

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex loves educators. It takes commitment, passion and hard work to inspire students in and out of the classroom. This year, teachers are celebrated during Educator Night Out on May 1, 2018 at 6:30 PM at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Educator Appreciation Week is from April 28 – May 13, 2018 and all educators are invited to kick it off and learn of our exciting new programs at this free, after-hours event.

Last year, the visitor complex shared the excitement for the upcoming programs that were coming soon to the visitor complex. Now, teachers and their invited guests will tour the NOW OPEN Astronaut Training Experience ® Center and learn about the two cutting-edge programs in that facility: Astronaut Training Experience (ATX) and Mars Base 1.

Ready to try out your skills in a microgravity simulation? The Spacewalk simulator will be open for teachers at a first come, first served basis. You can also learn about all of the other programs available to the future generation of space explorers.

The event will include a Taco Tuesday buffet dinner, 1 drink ticket and an introduction from a veteran NASA astronaut. Beer and wine will be available for purchase throughout the night as well.

Ready to launch into an evening of space education? Sign up below for your ticket!
