MISSION

United Launch Alliance (ULA) will launch the next communication satellite in Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) series. These satellites provide secure and effective connectivity between United States leadership and deployed military forces. This launch will also mark the 80th Atlas V mission for ULA.


LAUNCH VIEWING

Witness liftoff from Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex! Launch viewing opportunities may be offered from the main visitor complex or from viewing locations behind NASA’s gates with a Launch Transportation Ticket (LTT). The visitor complex may open launch viewing opportunities based on the launch’s public date and time. At this time, no LTTs are available for this launch. If offered, LTTs are sold as soon as possible after a confirmed date and time is publicized. If/when they are available, tickets may be purchased online under the VIP Launch Viewing tab on the Tickets page.

Launch date, time, and viewing opportunities are subject to change. Launches can be affected by technical and mechanical issues as well as range operations and weather, either in advance or at the last minute.
