Educator Night Out | 2019 Educator Appreciation Week

May 07, 2019 6:30 PM Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex loves educators! Educator Night Out returns on May 7, 2019 at 6:30 PM at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. All educators are invited to learn of our exciting educational opportunities and programs at this free, after-hours event.

Teachers and their invited guest will tour the Astronaut Training Experience® Center and learn about the two cutting-edge programs in that facility: Astronaut Training Experience (ATX) and Mars Base 1. Ready to try out your skills in a microgravity simulation? The Spacewalk simulator will be open for teachers at a first come, first served basis. You can also learn about all of the other programs throughout the visitor complex available to the future generation of space explorers.

The event will include a Taco Tuesday buffet dinner, 1 drink ticket and an introduction from veteran NASA astronaut Mike McCulley. Beer and wine will be available for purchase throughout the night as well. Ready to launch into an evening of STEM space education? Sign up below for your ticket and for more information. The event is free, but please RSVP if you plan to attend.
