NOTE: SpaceX is now targeting September 3, 2020 8:46 AM ET for the 12th launch of Starlink.


MISSION

SpaceX is scheduled to launch the 12th mission of the constellation of networked satellites known as Starlink. The goal of Starlink is to create a network that will help provide internet services to those who are not yet connected, and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe.


LAUNCH VIEWING

Due to the launch window scheduled significantly outside visitor complex operation hours, launch viewing opportunities are not available.

Start your Tuesday off with the next Starlink launch. Launch viewing is available from the following location:

NORTH ATLANTIS LAWN

  • Approximately 7.5 miles/ 12 kilometers from launch pad.
  • Included with entry to the visitor complex.
  • Bleacher seating and launch commentary with access to restrooms.
  • Launch viewing area opens at 9:00 AM with the live launch feed.
  • BUY ADMISSION

Be sure to arrive early and prepare for increased attendance and traffic on launch days. The visitor complex will open early at 8:45 AM for launch viewing. Please note Nature & Technology and Journey to Mars: Explorer's Wanted will be the only attractions open prior to 10:00 AM. Plan ahead for traffic, parking, temperature check lines and security screening. The viewing location and the available bleacher seating is first come, first served. The Explore More admission ticket is not a launch viewing ticket. The ticket is date specific and is not transferable between days. Launch date, time, and viewing opportunities are subject to change.

Availability of upcoming viewing opportunities is dependent upon the scheduled launch time and is subject to NASA and U.S. Air Force approval. Launch date, time, and viewing opportunities are subject to change. Launches can be affected by technical and mechanical issues as well as range operations and weather, either in advance or at the last minute.
