MISSION

SpaceX is scheduled to launch the 24th mission of the constellation of networked satellites known as Starlink. The launch window is scheduled between 12:34 PM to 12:37 PM ET. The goal of Starlink is to create a network that will help provide internet services to those who are not yet connected and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe. The network is currently available in parts of North America, intending to be globally available in late 2021 or 2022.


LAUNCH VIEWING

Launch viewing opportunities may be offered from the main visitor complex. If the launch date and time are within the visitor complex’s operating hours, guests may be able to view the launch from the main visitor complex with an Explore More admission ticket. Launch viewing opportunities will be announced as soon as possible after the announcement of a targeted launch date and time. Please note, the Explore More admission ticket is not a launch viewing ticket. It is date-specific and is not transferrable between dates. Launch date, time, and viewing opportunities are subject to change. Launches can be affected by technical and mechanical issues as well as range operations and weather, either in advance or at the last minute.

APOLLO/SATURN V CENTER

  • Approximately 6.2 miles/10 kilometers from launch pad.
  • Requires a complimentary transportation reservation with a departure time prior to the launch, in addition to admission. Reservations can only be made on-site for the same day.
  • Bleacher seating and launch commentary with access to restrooms.
  • Opens at 10:00 AM with live launch video feed.
  • BUY ADMISSION

ATLANTIS NORTH LAWN

  • Approximately 6.7 miles/10.8 kilometers from launch pad.
  • Included with admission to the visitor complex.
  • Bleacher seating and launch commentary with access to restrooms.
  • Opens at 11:00 AM with live launch video feed.
  • BUY ADMISSION

Be sure to arrive early and prepare for increased attendance and traffic on launch days. The visitor complex opens at 9:00 AM. Plan ahead for traffic, parking, temperature check lines and security screening. The viewing location and the available bleacher seating is first come, first served. Please note that an admission ticket is date specific and is not transferable between days. Launch date, time, and viewing opportunities are subject to change.
