MISSION

Witness history as the first private mission launches to the International Space Station (ISS). Axiom Mission 1 (Ax-1) will take an all-private crew of four to the ISS aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

 

LAUNCH VIEWING

To manage the anticipated increased visitation to the visitor complex, all guests wishing to view the upcoming Ax-1 launch must pre-purchase one of the below ticket packages. All packages include admission to the visitor complex and are the only form of valid admission on launch day. The Kennedy Space Center Bus Tours will not be available due to launch operations on the day of the Ax-1 launch. 

By purchasing a package, you understand that all launch viewing packages are mission-specific and the launch date and time is subject to change with little notice. Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.   

Availability of upcoming viewing opportunities is dependent upon the scheduled launch time and is subject to NASA and U.S. Space Force approval. Launch date, time, and viewing opportunities are subject to change. Launches can be affected by technical and mechanical issues as well as range operations and weather, either in advance or at the last minute.

Atlantis North Lawn viewing is perfect for the entire family, with entertaining activities as you prepare for the launch attempt. From here, you will see the launch as soon as the rocket clears the tree line.

DISTANCE: Approximately 7.5 miles/12 kilometers from the launch pad

MAIN VISITOR COMPLEX Launch Viewing Package

Stay up-to-date with live launch reports through the launch webcast on the jumbo monitor and live commentary. Viewing locations set up in the Atlantis South Lot and the Rocket Garden. From anywhere at the main visitor complex, you will see the launch as soon as the rocket clears the tree line.
