Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

At Kennedy Space Center, we know all about the need to “burn off a little excess fuel.” This covered play area gives junior astronauts just that opportunity, with a rocket-themed system of slides, tunnels, nets, play platforms, a climbing wall, and more. As the kids are playing and making believe they’re launching into space, rock climbing on the moon, or sliding down an asteroid, you can relax in the shade at one of several surrounding picnic tables. Around the base of the play structure, you’ll find imaginative artwork by local students depicting their visions of space travel. For a quick cool down, don’t miss the splashpad located nearby in the Rocket Garden.
