Back for a Limited Time Only: Tour Historic Sites of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

America’s space program was born on the sunny coast of Florida at (what was then) Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in 1950. Before NASA built Kennedy Space Center, rockets soared into Earth’s orbit from an extensive complex of launch pads meant to propel America into the future, courtesy of the U.S. Air Force.
For one weekend only, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is excited to offer tours to see historic sites of what is now known as Cape Canaveral Space Force Station with the MAX POWER Cape Tour.

This guided bus tour will take approximately 3.5 hours. While on this tour, you will:

  • Visit the Cape Canaveral Space Force Museum and Launch Complex 26
  • Visit the grounds of the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse and Hangar C for a panoramic photo opportunity

The MAX POWER Cape Tour will be available ONLY on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, offered three times a day at 11:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:30 PM.

Ticket: $55 per person, in addition to admission. Available on-site only the day of the tour.

We are currently experiencing a technical issue affecting online ticket sales. Guests can purchase one-day admission tickets on-site when they arrive at the visitor complex the day of their visit. Additionally, this tour can only be purchased on-site on November 7 and 8 for tours occurring on that day.

Disclaimer / Usage Details

  • Daily admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is NOT included with this tour, but is required.
  • Flat, closed-toe shoes are required.
  • The tour concludes by returning to the visitor complex. Explore on your own for the remainder of the day. If you wish to take the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour to The Gantry at LC-39 and Apollo/Saturn V Center, you will need to take the tour before or after your Space Force Tour, and allow for about 3 hours. To see everything at the visitor complex, we recommend you purchase a 2-day ticket.
  • Due to the length of the tour, guests are encouraged to eat prior to the start of the tour. However, a snack and water will be provided.
