S.T.E.A.M. Halloween

 

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has entered the Halloween scene this October 25 and 26! You are invited to S.T.E.A.M. Halloween, where imagination meets the innovation of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).

During S.T.E.A.M. Halloween, be sure to check out:

• Daily Costume Contest: Kids can strut their stuff in the Rocket Garden at 1:00 PM.
• Snap & Share: Pose in your costume with space-themed backdrops.
• Meet the Myth: Say hello to Jack Links’ Sasquatch! And stay for the dance off with Sasquatch and Space Person
• Science in Action: Hallowed-themed science demonstrations and interactive experiments at the S.T.E.A.M. Team interactive carts (October 13 – November 2)
• Treats with a Twist: Treat stations in NASA Central from local organizations and vendors

• Special Event – Saturday, October 25

No Halloween is complete without some stormy weather Join Greg Bennett, Spectrum News 13 Meteorologist, for thrilling weather experiments and a deep dive into the science behind storms. Learn about S.L.I.M. — Shear, Lift, Instability, and Moisture — and how these forces create nature’s most dramatic events. Catch Greg in Journey To Mars at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
