Emoldurado pela vegetação em primeiro plano e tendo como pano de fundo um céu noturno negro, o foguete SLS (Sistema de Lançamento Espacial) da NASA, transportando a nave espacial Orion, é lançado no teste de voo Artemis I em 16 de novembro de 2022, a partir do Complexo de Lançamento 39B no Centro Espacial Kennedy da NASA, na Flórida.

VISÃO GERAL DA MISSÃO

Artemis II builds on the success of the uncrewed Artemis I in 2022, and will demonstrate a broad range of capabilities needed on deep space missions. The Artemis II test flight will be NASA’s first mission with crew aboard the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket and Orion spacecraft. The crew includes Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen.
