Future Engineers: The Truss Build Challenge
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is proud to introduce the newest experience for families – Future Engineers: The Truss Build Challenge.
With your family or small group, put your engineering skills to work! Together, build the strongest truss you can using rod-and-connector materials.
Once complete, your truss’s strength will be put to the test. How many weights can it hold? At the end of this 90-minute challenge, leave with a certificate of completion, a better understanding of how the ISS is built, and plenty of stories and family memories to share.
Future Engineers: The Truss Build Challenge is available as an add-on enhancement to visitor complex admission.
Price: $39 (per person, plus tax (all ages 3 and older))
While there is no age limit for this program, it is best suited for future engineers ages 7 and older, and children must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend that there be one adult per 3-4 children in each reservation.
