Experience the Mission. Know the Crew. Touch the Future.

Before Artemis II launches for the Moon, join us for a never-before-seen Artemis experience on the bottom floor of Space Shuttle Atlantis.  This exclusive exhibition immerses you in the story, scale, and ambition of Artemis II.

Created by NASA’s Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate, the exhibit invites you to step into the mission—exploring the spacecraft, technologies, and people making America’s return to the Moon possible. Follow the journey of the Artemis II crew, learn how states across the nation are contributing to the mission, and see the Moon from the crew’s point of view.

Gravity will pull the Artemis II explorers home after their journey around the Moon, but curiosity will draw you deeper into this immersive experience—one that offers the rare opportunity to touch specimens from the Moon and Mars at the same time.

Follow the (flight) path through the exhibit and discover:

  • Awe-inspiring NASA displays featuring authentic Artemis hardware and mission elements
  • An Artemis II crew showcase with personal items and inspirational stories
  • Stunning large-scale models, including a fourteen-foot-diameter Moon
  • A sneak peek at tools and spacesuits designed for future Artemis missions
  • Interactive demonstrations that offer a hands-on sense of what it takes to be part of the mission

The Artemis II: Pathway to the Moon experience will start four days prior to the launch and go through one day after. Dates will be finalized once an official launch date is confirmed by NASA.

Stay tuned for additional Artemis II events like special presentations in Journey To Mars and more exhibitions in Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex(R).
