A great way for students to participate in real-world science is through the TomatosphereTM project. Sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), Tomatosphere is a free program available to K-12 students in the United States and Canada.
One of the most immersive activities offered at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is spending time living and working on Mars as an astronaut trainee in our visionary Mars Base 1.
