Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s Space Race returns January 16, 2026!

Benefiting United Way of Brevard, the Space Race is a 3K (1.86 mile) course throughout the visitor complex. Run or walk by the historic Rocket Garden, the full-sized booster stack at the entrance of Space Shuttle Atlantis® and the Mercury 7 mural on Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®. Winners in each category will receive their award from a veteran NASA astronaut. Then, enjoy a beer at the after-race party!

This family-friendly event is also open to guests of runners for a suggested donation of $5 to the United Way.
