Legendary Warbird aircraft will soar over the Rocket Garden during a special Sun ’n Fun flyover event.
In partnership with the Sun ’n Fun Aerospace Expo, up to 40 historic Warbird planes will fly over the visitor complex in pairs beginning at approximately 8:00 AM, with flyovers occurring every six minutes through 10:00 AM.
Aircraft may include (subject to change):
- T-6 Texan
- T-28 Trojan
- Douglas DC-3
- Cessna C-310 Bearcat
- F4U Corsair
Parking opens at 7:45 AM for early flyover viewing from the entrance plaza, but the visitor complex will open at its normal time of 9:00 AM.
The SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo flies over the skies of Lakeland, Florida, April 14-19. With a mix of world-class Airshow Performers and Military Demo teams, the event also showcases more than 560 exhibitors, live music, and nightly airshows.
