    In Memory of Edgar D. Mitchell

    1930 – 2016

    Edgar Mitchell, lunar module pilot for Apollo 14 and the sixth human to walk on the moon, passed away February 4, 2016, coinciding with the 45th anniversary of his Apollo 14 flight (January 31 – February 9, 1971). He was 85 years old.
