NASA’s Day of Remembrance

Join the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for the annual NASA Day of Remembrance at the Space Mirror Memorial. The ceremony, located at the Space Mirror Memorial on Thursday, January 30 at 10:00 AM, will honor all astronauts and astronaut candidates who have sacrificed their lives while furthering the cause of space exploration and discovery. Speakers include Kelvin Manning, Associate Director of NASA Kennedy Space Center and Thad Altman, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of The Astronauts Memorial Foundation.

Following the commemoration, a wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Space Mirror Memorial. Attendees will be given flowers to pay respects to our fallen heroes.
