Every January, we pause to honor all astronauts and astronaut candidates who have sacrificed their lives while furthering the cause of space exploration and discovery. This year, the annual NASA Day of Remembrance takes place on the 55th anniversary of the Apollo 1 tragedy. The ceremony will be live-streamed on Facebook at 10 AM by NASA KSC TV as only invited guests will be at the ceremony. Visitor complex guests are invited to stop by the Space Mirror Memorial later in the day to pay respects to our fallen heroes by laying flowers.

In addition, we welcome all to guests visit Forever Remembered, a memorial for the crews of Columbia and Challenger inside Space Shuttle Atlantis® and Ad Astra Per Aspera for the astronauts of Apollo 1 at the Apollo/Saturn V Center.
