Book Signing with Astronaut Tom Jones

Tom Jones will join Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for two special book-signing opportunities. Three of his books will be on display and available for purchase: “Ask the Astronaut,” “Sky Walking,” and “Space Shuttle Stories.”
The book-signing events will take place Friday, May 31, 2024, from 3 PM to 4:30 PM on the second floor of The Space Shop, and Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 1 PM to 2 PM in Shuttle Express, following the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® induction ceremony taking place on the bottom floor of Space Shuttle Atlantis®.
Please note: The author will only sign copies of their books. No other items will be eligible. All guests with admission are welcome to purchase a copy of one of his books, while supplies last.

Dr. Tom Jones is no stranger to space. In his more than eleven years with NASA, he flew on four space shuttle missions to Earth orbit. In 2001, he led three space spacewalks to install the American Destiny laboratory, the International Space Station’s centerpiece. Overall, he has spent 53 days working and living in space.
Tom has written seven books on space, aviation and history, with “Space Shuttle Stories” being his latest. His awards include the NASA Distinguished Service Medal, four NASA Space Flight Medals, the NASA Exceptional Service Award, the NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal, the NASA Exceptional Public Service Award, Phi Beta Kappa, the Air Force Commendation Medal and Distinguished Eagle Scout. In 2018, he was inducted into the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®. Asteroid 1082 is also named in his honor.
