Live Presentations with NASA’s Artemis Team 

Learn more about how NASA plans to return to the Moon using innovative technologies during a live “virtual chat” on July 27 at 1:00 PM in Journey To Mars: Explorers Wanted.

The presentation is entitled "From Apollo to Artemis – Designing Missions for Sustainable Space Exploration" by Matt Wittal. Matt is a Automation and Robotics Systems Engineer at NASA Kennedy Space Center's Granular Mechanics and Regolith Operations Laboratory, and Mission Design Specialist for the Deep Space Logistics Service. He is also a graduate student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering focusing on optimal navigation and control in SE(3). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Space Physics and Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, both from ERAU.

 

After the presentation, feel free to ask Matt questions. With the goal of sending humans to Mars, Artemis begins the next era of exploration!
