Artist, Astronaut, Earthling: A Nicole Stott Presentation

Oct 16, 2021 03:00 PM Journey To Mars

If you haven’t had a chance to hear from astronaut Nicole Stott, now is your chance! A veteran astronaut and aquanaut, Stott has flown two spaceflights, spending 104 days living and working in space. She also completed an 18-day dive at the Aquarius undersea laboratory. Now retired from NASA, Stott combines her artwork and spaceflight experience to help inspire new ideas about solutions to our planetary challenges.

Come learn about Stott’s exciting career and the intersection of art in science in the space program on October 16, 2021. Her presentation will begin at 3:00 PM in Journey To Mars: Explorers Wanted, followed by an autograph session inside The Space Shop 4:00 – 5:00 PM. Stott will be signing her new book Back to Earth, available for purchase while supplies last.

  • Only Stott’s books and portraits will be signed (no other memorabilia, etc.).
  • Candid photos are welcomed, but you will not be able to stand behind the table for posed photos.
  • Please observe social distancing guidelines.

Not only is Stott’s presentation sure to inspire, but now is also a great time to get a unique holiday gift or something for your personal collection! This presentation and autograph opportunity are included with daily admission.
